Single session in association with Tring Apple Fayre
English Cookery 19th October
This course is being run as part of Tring’s Own Apple Fayre - a seasonal celebration of our rural heritage, food, environment and culture and now in its 5th year. The Fayre is an initiative of Tring Environmental Forum and Tring in Transition.
Susan Catapim was married to a Portugese for 32 years and ran a Portugese restaurant for nearly 20 years. She now produces a wide range of delicious home cooked food including pies, cakes and chutneys for the family farmshop at Dunsley Farm, London Road, Tring.
Course information – Susan will be demonstrating how to make 2 different dishes.
Ingredients will be sourced from the local suppliers who supply the farm shop.

Apple, Raisin and Cider Tea Bread
Panfried Peppered Pork with Apple in a Cream Cider Sauce
There will be an opportunity to taste the dishes, and recipes will be available on the night.
